not sure i’ll get any video out, not until later at least.. we are flying
along in 16kts of wind, solent and 1 reef and 100 degree reaching not the
most comfortable angle for us at all, and after a good few months of light
wind sailing we are remembering what it’s like to be going this fast over
the sea! there’s a fair bit of movement and mobi is heavy with all our food
and fuel so gotta go easy… We are getting round to storing things properly
now, i guess we still have a few more movements of kit to go but everything
is starting to find it’s place. I woke up earlier and felt like we’d been
gone ages must be getting into some kind of routine.

Yesterday’s food bag went pretty well with a good percentage gone – the
remainder will be our heavy weather stock pile for when we don’t want to go
and find another bag, or simply want something extra. Loik and Mohsin’s
watch put the reef in, and are currently sleeping. whilst Th and Hooch ride
the bucking bronko on deck .

hopefully the boys will send through an update later on too

SummaryÖ

1) Good NE winds for you, generally 14-20 kts

2) May have wind speeds come down a few kts, mainly 0300-1200utc Sun

a) flow will then clock and come up again later Sun and Sun night

3) We now do have a tropical system ñ It is far to the south, named Tropical
Storm Dongo and is located near 17.7s/67.1e

a) it looks like it is moving SSW, but should turn more S and SSE over the
next 24 hours

b) slow strengthening is likely

c) expect Dongo to be close to 21.6s/67.7e around 12utc Sun and continuing
to move SSE
4) No direct impact from this system is expected, although, it could weaken
flow south of the Equator

a) will have to see how this pans out over the next couple of days

5) Lighter E to ENE flow expected for you during the course of Mon

a) wind speed may come down to 5-10 kts around/after 12utc Mon

6) Flow will back as we get to Tues-Wed

a) wind speeds stay light, generally 6-12 kts Tues-Wed

7) Could have a couple scattered showers once south of 8-9n

RoutingÖBasically a SSE heading next 18-24 hours then more S 12utc Sun thru
12utc Mon – some estimated positions below ñ will work our way south to the
westerlies
